Eat Pray Love

I know everybody loves this book and blah blah blah but there’s a REASON everyone loves it so much. And that’s because it’s a great book that can teach you a lot, especially if you’re able to relate to the main character in some way. If you know nothing about the plot, the main character is going through a divorce and trying to find herself again and figure out who she is outside of her marriage. Pretty relatable topic if you’ve ever been through a big break up, which I was going through when I read this. It made me feel a lot better in that a) I wasn’t alone, b) my situation could be much worse  and c) there are so many great experiences you can have when you’re newly single and need to spend time with you, and its so much better than wasting your days crying in your room.

I would tell anyone to read this book (well, any girl) whether she’s going through a break up or not. Chances are she has, or will at some point, and this story will dig a hole in your heart and nestle itself inside either way. It will teach you lessons, bring you a sense of adventure and make you want to do things on your own. Great read anytime anyplace any day of the year.  🙂
