Red velvet cupcakes have easily become one of my favorite desserts since I visited Red Velvet Cupcakery in D.C. A friend and I stumbled upon this tiny little shop near Chinatown one afternoon when we were enjoying the freshly bloomed cherry blossoms. Yes, they serve more flavors than red velvet, and yes we tried a few others, but red velvet was definitely the best. If you’re a fan, I definitely recommend this place.
I love hazelnut coffee. Especially with blueberry bagels on the weekend. It smells and tastes delicious, and according to the picture below, even the beans look delicious.
Chocolate hazelnut gelato is also a favorite of mine. Pizza Autentica has the best and they like to tease me by only serving it occasionally. But when they do, mmmmmmm my taste buds do a dance.
I fought a hard battle trying to find a good water bottle that wasn’t too big, inconvenient or loud before I came across this wonder. While I was visiting a friend at the beach, she let me borrow one of her Camelback bottles, and because she had three of them, she let me keep the one I borrowed. I was beyond ecstatic to be so pleased with a water bottle at such little cost! The only thing is, I already broke the top somehow (it was old anyway) and buying a new bottle would mean paying about $15 for a new one. But its worth it for a perfect water bottle aka new best friend.
